About me
Training
I have experience in a wide variety of settings including hospitals, clinics, universities, and private practices. I have provided training and clinical supervision to graduate students and other mental health professionals.
I have worked with a wide variety of issues such as depression, anxiety, parenting, low self esteem, grief, trauma, and relationship troubles.
My private practice is in Teaneck, NJ. I conduct individual therapy with adolescents and adults dealing with difficult transitions and facing challenges that impact their social, personal, academic, and work functioning. I provide a safe space where people feel comfortable and heard. My relaxed nature and expertise help people with symptom relief and improved quality of life.

Philosophy
I work with a variety of modalities. My basic approach is to decrease the thoughts and behaviors that are maladaptive and to increase thoughts and behaviors that are adaptive. My goals are to help people feel less pain and more joy throughout all aspects of their life. I help people understand themselves and make better choices.
Life doesn't have to hurt so much.
